IndyCar adds restart safeguards

IndyCar has introduced an additional safeguard for adjudicating restarts in an effort to reduce the likelihood of a repeat of the penalty issued erroneously to Ganassi's Scott Dixon at Milwaukee last weekend. The New Zealander was dealt a drive-through penalty for jumping a restart, despite the affected restart being waved off moments later
