Model Thickness

l just started a new build a 69 revell gto. The body is ok but the chassis is so thin and fragile. The interior tub is very thin also. l bought a 70 challenger and was very pleased on the thickness and quality. This is the second revell kit l have bought that is way to thin and fragile. Anyone else noticed this
