EXTREME KITBASH '41 Chevy- Made my bed this morning

And the actual results...

As Tim did, I am using the Beverly Hillbillies '22 Olds frame. I also used the Monogram '39 Chevy rear axle and spring, and used the front axle from the same kit (still needs shocks, though). I removed the stock middle crossmember, and made my own engine and trans crossmembers to accept the Replicas and Miniatures Buick 8 I still haven't ordered. The Pitman arm and drag link are from a Monogram Jeep CJ-7. I might use the chopped Flintstone body too, but I'm leaning more toward using the chopped '37 cab from the old Orange Blossom kit. I guess we'll see how it pans out. Mine won't be a flatbed in all probability- I'm leaning toward a cut-down GM pickup bed. Wheel and tire choice is still up in the air at this point.
