I just thought I would comment on this kit . It is a re-release of the old flat box STYLINE KIT . The one thing I found disappointing in this kit ,There are kits of this car with an engine ,if I remember correctly .This is NOT one . YEP , it,s a curbside , with ALL the old flaws that the original had . Still , it is coming along as a fun build . I specifically like the fact that I now have the pieces back that I used on other cars years ago . The STYLING pieces are as I remembered them and they will fit another car I have , soooo . I do believe the price could,ve been a little lower as the molding for the engine and it,s associated parts which I imagine have been gated off or they have a different mold for the engine bearing edition aren,t there . Still I do recommend this kit either as a STYLINE version or as a box stock classic FORD . The parts are there so you need to get in a quiet mood and visualise the version you want in your minds eye . In other words , GO FOR IT !!!! The whitewalls are the pop in type so they got around the old hard tires and tap them on with a hammer and a soft cloth . The glass is thick and I always trimmed the strips off between the front and back windows as that makes them fit better . I also trim off the vent window area because one side is shorter than the other and when the windshield is in tight there is a space showing between the vent frame and the " glass " , I later replace the vent windows with a more scale size piece of plastic in thickness , in the partly open position . Enjoy this kit , it,s a doorway to what we thought was the cat,s meow , way back when . oldcarguy
