Pickett HPD wins again in ALMS

Pickett Racing claimed a fourth straight victory in the American Le Mans Series as Klaus Graf and Lucas Luhr commanded the Mosport Park round in their HPD. Bar a penalty for having too many personnel over the wall at a pitstop, it was plain sailing for the Pickett team, with Luhr and Graf winning by 10 seconds over Chris Dyson and Guy Smith's Dyson Lola-Mazda

Motor Trend Lexus LFA Acura NSX

There's a slice of yesterday and a slice of tomorrow in the latest episode of Motor Trend's Head 2 Head. Jonny Lieberman takes the captain's chairs in the Acura NSX, a sports car whose praises are still being sung as if by Greek chorus 21 years after its introduction, and the Lexus LFA, a kinetic banshee whose V10 wailing has seemingly reawakened the moribund Japanese supercar industry.

On top of the driving, Lieberman gives a lesson in the details that behind each coupe's development and the finer technological points that help define each car. We could tell you more, but that would cheat you out of a good show. Oh, and Ayrton Senna makes a cameo. Have a watch below.

2014 BMW 3-series Five-Door Hatchback, Could Be 3-series GT

What It Is: A covered-up 3-series five-door hatchback, which we believe to be a revised 3-series GT test mule. When we last spotted a 3-series GT—basically a pseudo 3-series wagon/hatchback—it looked dangerously like the larger 5-series GT that inspired it. That car featured a longer roofline than seen here, plus a tall, strange buttock; again, [...]

Campaign launched to save Team Lotus

© Save Team Lotus
One side of the Lotus naming dispute has been put forward on a new and in-depth webpage called www.saveteamlotus.com. The basic background is that the Lotus Racing F1 team had its naming rights revoked for next season by Group Lotus and, in order to keep racing under the Lotus name, bought the Team Lotus brand off David Hunt, who had owned it since the original team’s last race in 1994. Group Lotus has now taken Lotus Racing to court to try and stop it using the historic name in Formula One next year. The issue has been a source of constant confusion for many fans and the new webpage offers a breakdown of David Hunt’s and Team Lotus’ side of the argument.
